Served Constructions

• A tightly packed construction with multiple, contra-helical layers served in opposite directions
• Low elongation to load ratio
• Generally applied over a core
• One of the highest strength to weight ratios
• More difficult to splice
• Requires external jacket, either braided or extruded, over the served layers
